Day 1. It's time for our Search for Santa and we will depart from our chosen airport directly to Rovaniemi.

Following our arrival in Lapland we have to find the Arctic Express which is known in Lapland as Santa's very own train. This train is powered by steam.

As we slip through the Arctic Wilderness we wonder what experiences might unfold before our very eyes. For sure this is a very special train, full of surprises, but to a destination we surely go...

Upon arrival is Santa waiting? No, this is only the end of the line and our experience continues. Further into the Arctic darkness we will drive along roads where the only traffic we may encounter could be Santa's very own reindeer before arriving in Luosto, a small village known to be one of Santa's favourite locations.

Here we will secure sustenance, warm overclothing and boots on loan and beds in cabins or a small hotel.

Day 2. Following a substantial breakfast we are about to embark to find Santa Claus. We will enjoy reindeer rides and husky rides and participate in snowmobiling with snowmobiles for both children and adults alike.

The conductor assured us we would find Santa and we know that he never disappoints children who have travelled so far to see him.

The entire experience has been like a dream.. Before we know it we are enjoying a last meal in Luosto before returning to Rovaniemi for a return flight during which dinner will be served.

Also included in our tour:

Tour includes services as specified in the itinerary, accommodation, meals and tours as specified, gift allowance for children aged 2-11 and loan of overgarments and boots at the resort.

Each cabin or room is reserved privately for the number in that party. i.e. If 3 persons book a cabin for 6, it remains private for the 3 persons concerned as the under occupancy supplement is already included in the price for 3.

Free Child Places:

FREE Child places are available on selected departures and subject to availability and must be booked prior to October 2010. Each booking must consist of a minimum of 2 adults and 2 children and the youngest child in the party will qualify for the free child place

Flight schedule and aircraft type to be advised when booking. All flights are non-smoking.
