5 Day Magical Sojourn

Set in the stunning wilderness resort of Luosto, Magical Sojourn is an enchanting yuletide break in the heart of Finnish Lapland. Set on the edge of the National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you can truly believe that this is the home of Father Christmas. Your magical Lapland holiday begins here.

Day 1. Flying from your chosen airport to Lapland, on arrival in Santa’s magical homeland, we’ll transfer to our destination, the enchanting resort of Luosto. Once you have collected your thermal snow suits & boots, check into your accommodation. Then it’s time to enjoy some simple snow games – perhaps one of Santa’s Special Elves will be there to join in the fun? Afterwards we can relax and enjoy our welcome dinner.

Day 2. After breakfast it’s time for our adventures to begin as we Search for Santa. As we push the boundaries of our imagination, the loyal huskies & reindeer will act as our guides, forging their way through the snowy plains. Perhaps, Snowy Bowy & Speedy Sam may know where Santa is today? Lunch will be provided before we resume our activities. After lunch if you haven’t yet driven a snowmobile, now may be a good time to try. This evening relax in the bar or enjoy a performance from our entertainers, prior to dinner.

Day 3. Today is the perfect time to enjoy the facilities offered in resort as we relax amidst the peace & tranquillity of Luosto. If you would like to try some cross country or slalom skiing, equipment is available for hire (local charges apply). A selection of optional excursions will be available today, including snowmobile safaris & an opportunity to visit the huskies and reindeer at home. Children will be enthralled as they meet these magical creatures & learn more about their lives with Santa. A buffet lunch & dinner will be served in your allocated restaurant today.

Day 4. We resume our search for the elusive Father Christmas. Surely today we will meet him personally, as he knows the great lengths we have gone to find him. Having read all of the children’s letters Santa will be delighted to welcome them into his home. Travelling over prepared tracks, snowmobiles, husky dogs & reindeer, will guide the way until we find Santa's secret house. Mrs Claus will be there to greet us and as we finally meet Father Christmas in person, children will be thrilled to receive their special gift from him. Lunch will be provided and a farewell dinner will be available on our return to Luosto.

Day 5. For your final morning in Luosto a variety of snow based activities will be available after breakfast, including the renowned tug of war competition & some simple tobogganing. Following lunch, it’s time to say farewell to Lapland & our wonderful new friends Tricky Dicky, Snowy Bowy, Noisy Nod and Speedy Sam. En-route to the airport a brief stop will be made, where you may purchase a souvenir of your Lappish adventure.
